Help4.ca Project: Empowering Canadians to Help those in Need around the World
Help4Rohingya Project - 2014
www.presstv.ir - A Rohingya Muslim woman is seen crying on an intercepted boat trying to flee a deadly hate campaign in Myanmar.
January 24, 2014: Our team has launched a new project to increase awareness of the plight of the Rohingya people in Myanmar.
There are three aims to this project - 1) increase awareness, 2) lobby for government action, and 3) fundraise for humanitarian relief.

How you can Help?
Get on the ground and help: We are investigating the possibility of sending a team of volunteers on the ground through Islamic Relief Canada. Stay tuned for details.
Awareness Campaigns: We want to improve awareness of the background of the conflict as well as the current plight of the Rohingya people.
Lobby our elected officials to take the Myanmar government to task - to afford them their rights to live in peace, and security - free from brutality and free from oppressive, racist/bigoted restrictions placed on them (e.g. birth restrictions, statelessness, etc.). We will be developing tools to make this process easy. Stay tuned for details.
Fundraising: We are raising funds to help the Rohingya people. They desperately need secure shelter, food, health care, and more. 100% of these funds will be forwarded to Islamic Relief Canada to directly help these unfortunate people. Our target is $100,000.
